Powder to the People (Serknight LLC) respects your privacy. We built this as a simple public tool without accounts or ads.

What we collect

Nothing you sign in with — we do not offer user accounts on this site.
Local preferences — your browser may store favorites or theme choice locally on your device; we do not receive those unless you sync them elsewhere yourself.
Hosting logs — our host (Vercel) may log IP addresses, request paths, and timestamps for security and operations, as described in Vercel's privacy policy.
AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, MCP) — when you use Powder to the People through an AI assistant, our MCP server at powdertothepeople.org/api/mcp receives only the tool request the assistant sends (for example a resort name, state or region). We don't receive your chat history, name, email or account details. Requests may appear in standard hosting logs (IP address, timestamp, request) for security and operations, and aren't used for advertising or sold. The tools are read-only and return public snow data.
Contact form — what you type is emailed to the developer and not stored on the site. Leave the email field blank if you do not want a reply.
Donations — if you donate via Stripe, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers on our servers. Stripe's policy applies to that transaction.
Analytics — we count visits with basic, anonymous site analytics so we know which pages people use. No advertising trackers, no cookies for this.
